Trial Lawyers’ Charities provide financial grants, in-kind donations, and volunteer service to hundreds of local non-profit organizations. Whether they are through OCTLC or LATLC, we make a real difference in our communities – with your help!

Los Angeles

For Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities, 2024 is already filled with events that directly impact individuals. We already participated in food distributions with M.E.N.D. (Meet Each Need with Dignity) and played bingo with seniors at the LA LGBT Center for Valentine’s Day. Some upcoming events include opening day for Buddy Ball special needs baseball teams; celebrating low-income families at our annual Mother’s Day party with Bresee Foundation; hosting KidSave activities to help older foster teens find forever families this summer; a Day of Dignity for the unhoused in Hollywood set for June 29; and, we are even working on the next Comfort & Joy holiday event in South Central Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities returns to the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel for another fantastic Casino Night on April 13. Sponsorships and tickets are now available, with special pricing for new lawyers and legal staff. But hurry, tickets are limited, and Early Bird prices end April 1.

Orange County

Plans have been made for Orange County Trial Lawyers’ Charities to host a luncheon at the Orangewood Foundation for youth transitioning out of the foster care system, a landscaping project with Habitat for Humanity, a volunteer event at Free Rein (an organization providing horse therapy to veterans and youth in Huntington Beach), food-sorting at Second Harvest Food Bank, and clothing drives for other OC Charities.

The famous OCTLC Roast is back – and this year legal titan (and bourbon connoisseur) Bob Simon is the target. This popular event is April 20 at the Westin South Coast Plaza. Limited tickets and sponsorships are still available.

But you do not have to wait for a fundraiser to be part of the incredible work we do.

2024 Great Tryke Giveaway

And the 2024 Great Tryke Giveaway is now set for July 27 at Bancroft Middle School in Long Beach. This OCTLC/LATLC partnership will provide more than 50 adaptive tricycles for children with special needs throughout the southland.

Passing it through to charitable organizations

But how do we get from “here” to “there?” Through the generous support of our attorneys and vendors.

We are “pass-through” organizations. The more we raise – the more we can provide to our partner charities.

To achieve this, both LATLC and OCTLC are hosting our major FUN- and FUND-raisers this spring:

Firm recognition

Both LATLC and OCTLC showcase individual attorneys and vendor companies on our websites. The total amount you donate throughout the year determines your level on our websites. You can move “up” throughout the calendar year. These donations can be as simple as tickets to our events to major sponsorships. As you continue to donate, the higher your Honorary Board of Governors or Sponsor level:

BRONZE - $1,000 to $2,499

SILVER - $2,500 to $4,999

GOLD - $5,000 to $9,999

PLATINUM - $10,000 to $24,999

DIAMOND - $25,000 to $49,999

SAPPHIRE – Over $50,000

Your support is crucial. The more you support LATLC and OCTLC, the more we can make a difference in our communities. Together we are TRIAL LAWYERS’ CHARITIES.
