“Together wherever we go”

Great events at which you can support us, so we can support our communities

Broadway legend Audra McDonald starred in the recent Tony-winning revival of “GYPSY.” In it, she sang TOGETHER –

Wherever we go, whatever we do,

we’re gonna go through it together.

Through thick and through thin

All out or all in…

Together wherever we go!

This year has already proven those lyrics to be true for our community as Los Angeles and Orange County Trial Lawyers’ Charities created our strongest partnership yet with CAALA and OCTLA.

TOGETHER we joined forces in response to the deadly Palisades and Eaton Fires. We supported first responders throughout Southern California as well as families who lost so much with supplies, personal care items, and household goods.

TOGETHER we are also hosting the service project in Booth #504/506 at the CAALA Convention – creating special bookmarks and cards for children. Stop by our booth and share the title of your favorite childhood book, then add a heart-shaped magnet bookmark. These cards will be donated to CASA Orange County, Altadena Arts Magnet, or Comfort and Joy, the holiday giving event in South Los Angeles. LATLC, OCTLC and CAALA will co-sponsor “Lovey’s Library” with free books for kids at Comfort and Joy on December 6. You can also sponsor “bundles of books” for any of those organizations. Show the world that trial lawyers care. By the way, we even have a button to prove it. Stop by and get one in our booth.

TOGETHER LATLC and CAALA marched in the West Hollywood Pride Parade June 1. We will have the special T-shirts we designed for the parade in our booth. Get one before they are gone!

TOGETHER on September 13, OCTLC and OCTLA will support the water station at the Triumph Foundation’s Superheroes 5k in Irvine, California. Grab your superhero cape and running/walking shoes and head to Mason Regional Park in Irvine where OCTLC and OCTLA members will host the water station, give away swag and support all those running, walking or rolling their way to a 5k finish. You will not want to miss this event, a favorite of all volunteers.

TOGETHER LATLC and OCTLC will again host the incredible GREAT TRYKE GIVEAWAY on November 8. We will provide adaptive tricycles for children with special abilities. As the children get final adjustments to their personalized trykes, volunteers will assemble 1,000 toiletry kits for our shared partner charity, US Vets. The kits will be for veterans struggling with homelessness in LA and Orange County and will be distributed in both counties.

TOGETHER also includes you. You can volunteer at our events (visit OCTLC.org and LATLC.org for the latest opportunities.) Also, as passthrough organizations, we can only “give” what we “raise.” In the next couple of months, OCTLC and LATLC will be hosting some fun opportunities for you to support our work:

On September 13, in the evening, OCTLC will hold the first LIP SYNC AND KARAOKE CHALLENGE AND 80S BEACH BASH at Newport Dunes. Grab your leg warmers and acid-washed jeans and get ready to rock to music from Madonna to Van Halen. Some of your favorite and talented lawyers will grab the mic and show off their singing/lip syncing talents for charity. Tickets are available at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/litigators-lip-sync-for-a-cause-80s-beach-bash-tickets-1435112994599?aff=oddtdtcreator.

On October 20, LATLC returns to beautiful Braemar Country Club for our ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT. Limited sponsorships and foursomes are still available at https://LATLCGOLF25.givesmart.com. Don’t wait – it always sells out!

These fundraisers help our organizations provide grants and in-kind donations. Support us so we can support our communities.

TOGETHER we can make a difference.
