Sanford Jossen

Sanford Jossen is a University of San Diego School of Law graduate. He has practiced for over 39 years, 35 of which have been devoted to the representation of sexually molested, abused, or seriously injured children. He was twice appointed as an As Needed Referee and sat in every Delinquency and Dependency Court in Los Angeles County. He served for 10 years on the Judicial Task Force for Tort Reform of the Dependency Court at the invitation of Presiding Judge Michael Nash and helped write the current Tort Policy. Mr. Jossen has litigated children’s cases through appeal and was instrumental in amending Health & Safety Code section 1527 involving the Small Family and Foster Family Home Insurance Fund. He has served as an Arbitrator and Mediator since 1987 for thousands of cases at the request of both plaintiff and defendant firms.
